Lake and Environmental Stewardship

A healthy lake is the foundation for everything else — fishing, recreation and local life alike.

01

Respecting habitats

Reed beds, shorelines and shallow bays are where fish spawn and birds nest. When moving by boat or along the shore, try not to disturb them, especially in spring.

02

Following the rules

Fishing regulations, closures and protected areas exist so that fish stocks can recover. Following them is every angler's responsibility.

03

Clean fishing spots

  • Take all your waste with you, including fishing line and hooks.
  • Do not light fires in places where it is not permitted.
  • Do not feed fish or birds with food leftovers.
  • If you notice pollution, report it to the responsible authorities.
04

Why accurate information matters

Share only verified information about fish stocks and water conditions. Rumours and unverified claims can harm both nature and the community.
